Tenders Description & Specification for Glow Wire Tester
Glow Wire Tester
The glow wire test simulates a heat source such as a glowing element or an overloaded resistor in a short time.
The thermal stress caused by time is used to evaluate the fire hazard with simulation technology.
This test instrument is mainly used for electronic and electrical components or parts under fault or overload conditions, which may reach excessive temperatures or ignite parts near them.
It is suitable for plastic and non-metallic insulating parts such as switch housings and relay sockets for electrical and electronic products, components, and household appliance components.
Specification:
Glow wire is made of 4mm±0.04mm diameter nickel/chromium (80/20) wire to form a size ring.
Temperature thermocouples use nominally Ø0.5mm nickel-chromium and nickel-aluminum (K) armor filament thermocouples.
Glow wire temperature: adjustable from room temperature to 1000°C.
