Tenders Description & Specification for Metal Bar Tensile Strength Testing Machine
Metal Bar Tensile Strength Testing Machine
Tensile Testing of Metals is a destructive test process that provides information about the tensile strength, yield strength and ductility of the material. The process creates a stress/strain curve showing how the material reacts throughout the tensile test. Metal bar tensile strength testing machine using the tensile or tension test method, involves applying an ever-increasing load to a test sample up to the point of failure. The data generated during tensile testing is used to determine mechanical properties of materials and provides the following quantitative measurements:
Tensile strength, also known as Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS), is the maximum tensile stress carried by the specimen, defined as the maximum load divided by the original cross-sectional area of the test sample.
Ductility measurements are typically elongation, defined as the strain at, or after, the point of fracture, and reduction of area after the fracture of the test sample. Yield strength is the stress at which time permanent (plastic) deformation or yielding is observed to begin.
Main Features:
Data transmission: RS232, and displacement resolution: 0.001mm
Graph scale automatic optimization allows best measurement and can implement graphics dynamic switching by the test.
Use famous brand Panasonic servo motor, which ensure high efficiency, steady transmission and low noise.
Whole facility structure is made of baking varnish aluminum profile, and inner part is applied the high-accuracy,low-resistance and zero clearance of dual-ball screw and oriented pole, through which highly improve the loading efficience and structure rigidity.
Apply brand computer as the main control system, computer control with software, back to origin automatically after the test, and can store data automatically or by manual operation.
