Pensky-Martens Digital Tester
This instrument covers the determination of the flash point of petroleum products in the temperature range from 40 to 360°C.
The instrument is heated by an electronic thermoregulator, mounted on a case painted with anti-acid epoxydic products. It is supplied complete with a calibrated brass test cup, cover with gas ignition device allowing to ignite the testing sample by a manual trip-opening, motor stirrer for Procedure "A" or "B", air bath made in brass with external stainless steel calotte, cooling fan, digital thermometer with PT100A glass probe, gas tube 5 meters long and 30 mbar gas reducer.
The tester covers both "procedure A" (applicable to distillate fuels, lubricating oils) and "procedure B" (residual fuel oils, cutback residual, mixtures of petroleum liquids with solids).
